Senior Signalling Engineer

With more than 20 years’ experience in railway signalling as a Designer and a Project Engineer, Simon has successfully completed a 4 year apprenticeship achieving design proficiency as confirmed through the achievement of an Institute of Railway Signal Engineers Designer licence, and later a Principles Designer licence.

In his early UK-based career, Simon accomplished the role of designated Responsible Design Engineer for a package of design on the West Coast Route Modernisation Project.
Following a move to Australia, he became proficient in NSW (regional) and Queensland signalling, having produced designs for ARTC, JHCRN and Queensland Rail. Simon has performed long placements on secondment embedded within Queensland Rail and ARTC in schemes development roles. Specialising in scheme development and passionate about serving on the client or services provider side, Simon’s extensive technical experience covers both.
