Lifecycle Para-Cycling Sponsored by Omada Rail Systems

Omada Rail Systems is pleased to announce that we are now the title sponsor of the Lifecycle Cycling Club Para program.

Giving back to the community is something that is very important to us at Omada Rail Systems. That is why we are happy to announce that we are sponsoring and supporting the Para-Cycling program of Lifecycle Cycling Club – ‘Queensland’s most inclusive cycling club’.

Lifecycle Cycling Club is a Brisbane based cycling club with strong and passionate values. Speaking about the club’s Para program, Lifecycle Secretary Lachlan Gray said, “We ensure that all our events cater for men, women, juniors and para-cyclists. The purpose of our growing para-cycling program is to provide people living with a disability with the opportunity to join a social cycling group.”

Lifecycle established its Para-cycling Program in 2016, aiming to provide para-athletes with a better platform to engage in sport.  A major component of the program is supplying purpose-built bikes, both for athletes to compete with and for social riders to use, including Tandems, handcycles and trikes. As well as providing equipment, club members will also volunteer their time to assist in ‘piloting’ tandem bikes. Furthermore, the club also supports a few highly skilled athletes who were on track to be involved with the Paralympics 2020 until the event was postponed. This program embodies the principles of diversity and inclusivity, values we rate highly within our own company.

At Omada, our goal is to have a lasting and positive effect on the communities we work in, not just limited to the high-quality rail engineering work we do; we are committed to supporting the greater community. By sponsoring Lifecycle’s Para Program, we aim to promote greater inclusivity, not just in cycling but also in the wider community.

Make sure to keep an eye on our Facebook and Instagram accounts, as we will be sharing updates and photos of our Para-athletes regularly. If you are interested in finding out more about lifecycle’s para-program or the club in general, visit their website here Lifecycle website.
